why?

As a Police officer serving for West Yorkshire, I can only ask why? I am an officer from the same team (5) but a different station. I was on the same shift the day that Sharon was killed. A early turn shift. A shift that is routine. A normal day for a cop. Early shift is not like the others. You do the shift, get home in time for the family, spend quality time as you know the next set of lates and nights will be busy. You will be a passing ship in the night to your loved ones come the next few days.

I never knew you as a person Sharon, but people on my team did. Some even joined the force with you and still talk about you. They laugh and cry when they think about you on the dance floor back at police training school..

God bless the children, husbund and family of Sharon. Forever keep them safe.

a true friend

Nearly a year has gone by and the hurt doesn't get any easier. It doesn't help to read what people say. It shouldn't have happened to you or anyone else. My heart aches knowing they took you from your children. I hope you are at peace, I will never be.

Goodnight god bless xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
